A.3.2 Analysis Steps

A.3.2.1 Identification of Ferrocyanide

Take 10mL of 10g/L sample solution, add 1mL of ferric chloride solution, generate dark blue precipitate, filter, and perform the following test on the filtrate. Neutralize the above filtrate with ammonia water until neutral, concentrate to one-third, and add 2 drops of perchloric acid solution to form a white precipitate. It is insoluble in sodium hydroxide solution or water, but soluble in sulfuric acid solution

A.3.2.2 Identification of Potassium Ions

After wetting a platinum wire with hydrochloric acid, burn it on a colorless flame until colorless. Dip the sample and burn it on a colorless flame, and the flame turns purple under cobalt glass.
