Food additive silica (2) detection

BAIJIAN - a professional third-party testing and inspection platform that provides relevant testing and inspection services for food additive silica (
Product Description:

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of food additive silica. This standard is applicable to food additives and silicon dioxide produced by gas phase method and precipitation, which are mainly used as food anti binder, thickener, stabilizer, essence and spice adsorption desiccant, clarification filter aid, etc. Molecular formula: SiO2?? NH2O2, referenced standards The provisions contained in the following standards constitute provisions of this standard by reference in this standard. At the time of publication of this standard, the versions shown are valid and all standards will be revised. Parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest versions of the following standards. GB 191-90 Packaging, Storage and Transport Graphical Symbols GB/T 601-88 Chemical Reagents - Preparation of Standard Solutions for Titration Analysis (Volume Analysis) GB/T 602-88 Chemical Reagents - Preparation of Standard Solutions for Impurity Determination (ncq ISO 6353/1:1982) GB/T 603-88 Preparation of Preparations and Products Used in Chemical Reagent Test Methods (ncq ISO 6353/1:1982) GB/T 6678-86 General Principles for Sampling Chemical Products GB/T 6682-92 Specification and Test Methods for Analytical Laboratory Water (cqv ISO 3696:1987) GB/T 8449-87 Method for the Determination of Lead in Food Additives GB/T 8450-87 Method for the Determination of Arsenic in Food Additives GB/T 8451-87 Test Method for the Limit of Yellow Metal in Food Additives 3. Product Classification: Food additives: Silicon dioxide is divided into the following three categories: Class I: Gaseous silica; Class II: hydrated silica gel; Class III: Precipitated silica, silica gel. 4. Requirement 4.1 Appearance: Food additive silica is a milky white uniform powder; 4.2 Food additive: Silicon dioxide should meet the requirements of Table 1. Project index: Class I, Class II, Class III: Silicon dioxide content (after burning) ≥ 99.3 99.0 96.0 Drying loss ≤ 2.5 7.0 5 Burning loss ≤ 2.0 8.5 8.5 Heavy metal (in Pb) content ≤ 0.003 Lead (Pb) content ≤ 0.001 Arsenic (As) Content ≤ 0.0003 soluble dissociated salt (calculated as Na2SO4) Content ≤ -145 Test method. The reagents and water used in this standard, unless otherwise specified, refer to analytical pure reagents and Grade III water specified in GB/T 6682. The standard titration solution, impurity standard solution, formulation, and product used in the experiment shall be prepared in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 601, GB/T 602, and GB/T 603 when no other requirements are specified. 5.1 Identification test 5.1.1 Put about 5mg of sample into a platinum crucible, add 200mg of anhydrous potassium carbonate and mix. Burn in red heat for about 10 minutes, cool, add 2 ml of new distilled water solution, if necessary, heat up, and then slowly add 2ml of ammonium molybdate test solution to produce a dark yellow color. 5.1.2 Drop one drop of the sample dissolved in 5.1.1 onto a filter paper, evaporate the solution, add one drop of a saturated solution of o-biphenyl gum in glacial acetic acid, and then place the paper on concentrated ammonia water. Green spots appear. 5.2 Determination of Silicon Dioxide Content 5.2.1 Method Summary: After the sample is burned at 950 ± 50 ℃ for 1 hour, excess hydrogen oxygen solution is used to heat and decompose the silicon dioxide. After the burn, it is weighed. 5.2.2 Reagents and materials 5.2.2.1 Hydrofluoric acid; 5.2.2.2 Sulfuric acid; 5.2.2.3 Ethanol. 5.2.3 Instrument and equipment: Platinum crucible: 50ml. 5.2.4 Analysis step: Weigh approximately 1g of test sample B (5.4.1) (accurate to 0.0002g). Wet the test sample with 3-4 drops of ethanol, add 2 drops of sulfuric acid, submerge the sample with 10ml of hydrofluoric acid, evaporate on a sand bath until dry, then add 5ml of hydrofluoric acid, carefully shake the crucible to rinse the inner wall, evaporate until dry, and burn at 950 ± 50 ℃ until constant weight. 5.2.5 Expression of analysis results
