This standard specifies the terms, definitions, classifications, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films for general purposes. This standard applies to ordinary (light film) and heat sealed films prepared by biaxial stretching using polypropylene resin as the main raw material and used for general purposes.
