For undated references, the latest version (including all amendments) applies to this standard. 3 Terms and definitions 3.1 Infants refer to individuals aged 0-12 months. 3.2 Young children refer to individuals aged 12-36 months. 3.3 Cereal based supplementary foods for infants and young children are processed with one or more grains (such as wheat, rice, barley, oats, rye, corn, etc.) as the main raw materials, and the grains account for more than 25% of the dry matter composition. They are suitable for infants and young children aged 6 months and above by adding appropriate nutritional fortifiers and/or other auxiliary materials. 4 Product Classification 4.1 Cereal Supplementary Foods for Infants and Young Children: Cereal supplementary foods for infants and young children consumed after mixing with milk or other suitable liquids containing protein. 4.2 High protein cereal supplementary food for infants and young children is a cereal supplementary food for infants and young children that has been added with high protein raw materials and prepared with water or other suitable liquids without protein
