General requirements for inorganic acids in feed additives - Testing

This standard specifies the technical indicators, safety and health indicators, testing methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for inorganic feed acidifiers. This standard applies to additives composed of one or several inorganic acid regulators that can increase the acidity (decrease pH value) of formula feed or improve the quality of silage feed. Technical requirements: The sensory indicators of the product are solid powder or liquid, with consistent color and good flowability. The product quality indicators should meet the requirements of Table 1. Toxic and harmful substances and impurity indicators products should comply with the requirements of GB 13078. The heavy metal and free compound content indicators of the product should meet the requirements of Table 2. The detection method for moisture content shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T 606. GB/T 606-2003 Chemical Reagents - General Method for the Determination of Moisture - Karl Fischer Method - Total Acid Content shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T 12456.
